Amor Fati

“Maybe that’s what all lives were, though. Maybe even the most seemingly perfectly intense or worthwhile lives ultimately felt the same. Acres of disappointment and monotony and hurts and rivalries but with flashes of wonder and beauty. Maybe that was the only meaning that mattered. To be the world, witnessing itself.”
- Matt Haig, The Midnight Library

To feel love, to see hope and potential. The world does not have to change a single thing to make you better, you just need to have a different perspective. This is a mind trick. We actually don’t need to experience all these possibilities, we just need to be able to imagine the potential, that’s all.

“You don’t have to understand life, you just need to live it.”

And yes, there needs to be a balance here too.
